Horizontal external venetian blind
Wide slats of the external venetian blinds can be adjusted from inside to any given angle care for just the right amount of light to come into the room at any time of day. And they may be adjusted in a way that light penetrates into the room, but at the same time, unvanted sun rays or views are kept out.
